Boys Lacrosse Not Enough for Powerful Reading

A stellar Wellesley High School boys lacrosse season came to a close on Tuesday as the locals didn't have quite enough firepower to keep up with No. 3 seed Reading in the East Division 2 quarterfinal round.

Kerry Lyne, Peter Hogan, Will Hartnett, Matt Dziama and Tucker Dietrick each cracked the scorebook for Wellesley, but the Rockets put too much distance between themselves and Wellesley, earning a 9-5 victory.

The setback ends the Wellesley season at 16-5, while Reading advanced to take on Medfield in the semifinals of the East Division 2 bracket.
