Wellesley Man Run Over By His Own Truck, Seriously Hurt: Police
It happened at the Wellesley Recycling and Disposal Facility Monday morning.

A Wellesley man was seriously hurt Monday morning after police said he was run over by his own truck at the town’s Recycling and Disposal Facility.
Police did not immediately identify the 70-year-old victim.
The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. Police said the man got out of his truck to unload refuse but realized he didn’t engage the parking brake. The truck stated to roll forward and the man tried to stop it by holding the driver’s side door, police said. He got knocked down and pinned under a tire; two bystanders moved the vehicle to free him, police said.

The man suffered serious internal injuries. He was medflighted to a Boston-area hospital.
