Join us for beautiful music in a Bach Vespers service featuring Cantata BWV 82, Ich habe genug, at 4 PM on this Sunday, February 15 in Wallace Chapel, Wellesley Hills Congregational Church. Bach Vespers is a series of evening worship services featuring Bach cantatas performed with period instruments and with the beautiful period Noack Organ. Performing the cantata, under the direction of Dr. William D. Cooper, Director of Music, will be Dylan Evans (baritone), Gaia Saetermoe-Howard (oboe), Renee Hemsing and Emily Irons (violins), Anne Black (viola), Jacques Lee Wood (cello), and Will Cooper (organ, conductor). Also featured will be a new composition by Dr. Cooper for soprano soloist based on Psalm 31, with Maggi Paraggio (soprano). Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in C Major BWV 545, several congregational hymns, and a sermon by Rev. Jonathan Page will also be part of the Vespers service.
