Celebrate the release of Rose Levy Beranbaum's memoir, Ma Vie En Rose, with an intimate evening featuring the legendary baker and her writing partner Woody Wolston. The event includes a book, presentation, and small bites, with all proceeds supporting the Les Dames d'Escoffier Boston Chapter Scholarship Fund.
Les Dames d’Escoffier Boston presents Rose Levy Beranbaum in conversation with Kara Baskin of The Boston Globe and Rose’s collaborator and husband, Woody Wolston. We will be celebrating the release of her new memoir, Ma Vie en Rose.
About Rose
Rose Levy Beranbaum is a six time James Beard Award winner. From her first book The Cake Bible (1989 Book of the Year), to her induction into the Cookbook Hall of Fame in 2025, she has influenced home bakers and professionals with her innovative and meticulously documented techniques. Rose was inducted into the James Beard Foundation/D'Artagnon Who's Who of Food and Beverage in America, in 2004.
Rose is a popular guest on major television shows (The Today Show, The Early Show, Martha Stewart, Charlie Rose, The Food Network, and PBS). An internationally known food expert, Rose also has been a featured presenter in the food and wine festivals and symposia. She created a public television cooking series called "Baking Magic with Rose Levy Beranbaum."
Tickets for the event are $75 and include a signed copy of Ma Vie en Rose and small bites and beverages after the presentation.
Proceeds go to the Les Dames d’Escoffier Boston scholarship fund which supports scholarships and awards for women in the culinary and hospitality industry. Awards include the Culinary Adventure Award at Boston University, Minuteman Regional Technical High School culinary scholarship, NECAT (New England Culinary Arts Training), and Saccone Awards for unsung heroes in hospitality.
