Concert: An Evening of (Mostly) French Piano Music

Internationally acclaimed pianist and scholar Roy Howat presents an evening of mostly French piano music, including works by Ravel, Chopin, Chabrier, Fauré, and Debussy. Howat’s teachers included the legendary pianists Vlado Perlemuter and Jacques Février, who both worked closely with Ravel. Howat has produced critical editions of music by Debussy, Fauré, Chabrier and Chopin, plus two famously ground-breaking books, Debussy in Proportion and The Art of French Piano Music: Debussy, Ravel, Fauré, Chabrier.
