Contemporary Poetry Lecture Series with Stephen Collins at Waterstone

WELLESLEY—Teacher and performer Stephen Collins will present a lecture on contemporary poetry every Monday night in October (Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26) at 7:30 p.m. Collins earned a degree in Literature from UMass Boston. He teaches seminars on Whitman, Hardy, Shakespeare, Frost and Contemporary Poetry all over the country and is known for his innovative teaching style, which has been described as a cross between lecture and performance. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
