A Conversation on Girls and Stress
On November 12, Dana Hall School will host a free and public panel discussion on the topic of girls and stress.

The Forum at Dana Hall School is a symposium series designed to examine a topic of particular relevance to girls and girls education. The first symposium will focus on adolescent girls and stress. While girls are aspiring to even more ambitious academic goals than ever, they also report higher levels of stress and a stronger reaction to stress than their male counterparts.
On Thursday, November 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., a group of educators, scientists and clinicians will share recent research findings, as well as discuss and share practical strategies to help parents, teachers and students devise methods to perform well in the classroom, while also mitigating stress.
As a leader in girls’ education, and as a partner in the 21st Century Athenas research study, Dana Hall School is well suited to lead an informative and practical discussion on adolescent girls and stress.
