Cutting The Cable Wire, Harassment: Wellesley Police Log
The following is from the Wellesley Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

March 21
7:07 p.m. - Officer DiCenso spoke with a female reporting party at the police station about identity theft. The reporting party stated that her credit card was used to make a fraudulent purchase on Fandango in California and she also received a text message from Overstock.com, but had not made a purchase. She contacted her credit card company and cancelled the credit card. Officer DiCenso contacted Fandango regarding the purchase and was advised a member of the fraud department will contact her. The incident is under investigation.
7:12 p.m. - Officer Griffin spoke with a woman regarding possible harassment. The woman stated that in October 2017, a man she was familiar had watched her and other coworkers for a long period of time from his vehicle. She stated that the next day the man drove past her residence and then on Feb. 1, the man contacted her via email and requested to meet with her. The reporting party did not respond to his email and is in the process of requesting a harassment prevention order through the court.

March 23
9:54 p.m. - Officer Cunningham was dispatched to Winwood Road for a report of vandalism to a residence where her cable wire had been cut in two locations. The reporting party stated her cable and phone stopped working on March 8 and was repaired on March 23. The technician that repaired the cable showed her that the wire had been cut in two places. The reporting party stated that on March 8 at approximately 8 p.m., a pickup truck had backed into her driveway and a man had exited the truck. This had been captured by her video surveillance system. The reporting party stated she had not been expecting anyone to come to the residence and when she opened her garage door the truck fled the driveway. Officer Gover viewed video footage from the reporting party’s security system and observed the same truck at the residence on three occasions in March. During one of those occasions a man came onto the front porch area and knocked on the door. Officer Cunningham was able to identify the male party and asked the reporting party if she was family with him. She stated she was. Officer Cunningham is investigating.

March 24
2:43 p.m. - Officer Cunningham was dispatched to Roche Bros regarding a past attempt by a man to use a fraudulent ID to purchase alcohol. The store employee stated that on March 23 at 7 p.m., a young man attempted to purchase beer with a New Jersey driver’s license. The cashier questioned the ID and requested that her supervisor look at the ID at which time the man left the store, leaving the ID behind. Officer Cunningham queried the name on the ID and learned that a man with that name resided in Wellesley. He went to the residence and spoke with the man and a parent. The man admitted to using the fraudulent ID to attempt to purchase beer. Officer Cunningham advised him that no criminal charges would be filed, but notice would be made to the Registry of Motor Vehicles and they make take administrative action.
