Dec. 17

4:55 p.m. - A Natick woman was arrested after police said she crashed into another car while under the influence of Benadryl and prescription medication. Police were called to Central Street after an Audi struck a Nissan SUV that was stopped at a traffic light. Police spoke with Susan Charton, 69, and said her speech was slurred and her reactions were sluggish. Police said Charton seemed confused and had to be reminded several times that she had been involved in a car crash. She agreed to take a field sobriety test, but she failed. Charton was charged with an OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lane violations. She was released on personal recognizance.

9:41 p.m. - The Wellesley Police helped Wellesley College Campus Police take a bus passenger into protective custody. Police said a 22-year-old man on the bus was unccoperative and shouting profane language. The man was released into the care of two friends.

12:00 a.m. - A Brockton man was arrested after police said he drove on a license which was revoked because of several motor vehicle-related offenses. The suspect was pulled over because police said he had a headlight out. Danilson Lopes, 31, was arrested and later released on $250 bail.

11:20 a.m. - A Framingham man was arrested after police said there was an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was pulled over on Lexington Road after police ran a registration check. Bradley Sullivan, 21, was taken into custody and taken to Dedham District Court.

Dec. 20

5:00 a.m. - A Stoughton man was arrested after police said he was found trespassing with burglary tools at the Wellesley Department of Public Works. After a DPW employee confronted the suspect, he called police. Officers pulled over Paul Anderson, 53, on Washington Street. When Anderson spoke with police, they said he admitted to being near the DPW, but was there because he met with a woman. Wire cutters and a tarp partially covering large pieces of cut copper wire were found in the car, according to police. When asked about this, Anderson said he found the items on the side of the road and recognized them as being valuable, according to police. Anderson was taken into custody and charged with breaking and entering, larceny over $1,200, possession of burglary instruments, and trespassing. He was taken to Dedham District Court.
