Drunk Driver Thought She Was In New Hampshire: Wellesley Arrests

One woman was arrested following a hit and run. Police said they found an open bottle of vodka in the car.

WELLESLEY, MA — The following are excerpts from the Wellesley police arrest log for July 17 to July 23, 2017. All are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law. Drunk driving leads to hit and run: On July 24, 2017 at 6:43 p.m. A police officer was dispatched to the area of Washington Street for a report of an erratic operator who may have been involved in a hit and run motor vehicle crash. The car was stopped in the area of Central Street at Crest Road. The police officer noted that the driver, later identified as Brittany Todd, had slurred speech, told the officer she thought she was in New Hampshire and there was significant damage to the front passenger side of her vehicle. Todd took and failed three field sobriety tests. Then police found an open bottle of vodka on the floor of the car. When she initially stopped and asked for her identification she indicated she did not have it with her and provided the officer with a false name. Police arrested her.


Drugs and dangerous weapon: On July 28, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. A number of officers served a warrant arrest out of Dedham District Court for Possession of Class A Drugs and Possession of a Dangerous weapon for Todd Knight at his home. They took him into custody, transported to the station then to the court.

Probation violation: On July 29, 2017 at 10:49 a.m. officers served an arrest warrant issued by Dedham Superior Court for Connor Campanelli. The warrant was issued for a probation violation. He was located at his residence, taken into custody, transported to the station and held without bail.
