Elementary Teacher Had Inappropriate Contact With Student: Police
Matthew DiMuccio, of Wellesley, and a music teacher at a Whitman elementary school, was arrested at his home Monday.
WHITMAN, MA — An elementary school music teacher accused of having inappropriate contact with a student was arrested at his home Monday. Matthew DiMuccio, 32, of Wellesly, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Brockton District Court on two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.
DiMuccio, who teaches at Duval Elementary School, was placed on leave May 15 after a Whitman Police School Resource Officer was notified of the alleged contact. An ensuing investigation resulted Monday's arrest.
Whitman Police are not releasing more details due to the victim being a minor.
