Have you been able to go a day in your life without using
plastic? In this touching and humorous short documentary, “everyman” Jeb
Berrier embarks on a mission to unravel the complexities of our overly-plasticized
world. What starts as a film about plastic bags evolves into a wholesale
investigation into plastic and its effects on our wildlife, our waterways and
our personal health. Berrier will also explore what we can do to rid ourselves
of the bane that is the single-use plastic bag. The film will be followed by a
discussion led by State House Representative Alice Peisch of Wellesley, about
the current bill being considered at the State House that would phase out
plastic bags in the Commonwealth. We’ll also offer an update on the Bottle Bill
and discuss other actions we can all take to reduce plastic in our daily lives.
This free event will take place in the
