Wellesley Marketplace is one of the premier holiday craft fairs in the Boston area. More than 2,000 people attend Marketplace to shop 130 individually chosen merchants, selling unique, hand-crafted items including jewelry, pottery, clothing, artwork, home accessories, edible delights and more. Thanks to the Club’s tireless fundraising work, and the generous support of its sponsors and participants, the WHJWC gives approximately $200,000 back to the Wellesley community each year. Half is awarded as scholarships to Wellesley college students, and half is donated to local charitable organizations to support a variety of causes from literacy to aging to hunger and homelessness. The WHJWC is a tax-‐exempt, charitable organization under IRS section 501(c)(3).
