Annie

Based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie, Annie tells the story of an orphan in New York City in the early 20th century. Plucked from the squalid orphanage where she lives with her “family” of orphaned girls, Annie lands in the lap of luxury in the home of Oliver Warbucks. Although her brief stay begins as merely a publicity campaign for Warbucks, Annie quickly works her way into the hearts of the staff, and even Warbucks himself. As the story unfolds, we watch this one magical little girl transition to a completely different world than she’s ever known, building a new family along the way.
