We are pleased to present Dr. Hubert I. Caplan, Staff Rheumatologist and Internist at the Marino Center in Wellesley on Tuesday September 28 at 1pm. He will give an overview of the fi eld of Rheumatology and discuss the various forms of rheumatic diseases; focusing on arthritis, the importance of an early accurate diagnosis leading to prognosis and treatment options-- both traditional and alternative. In addition to his practice, Dr. Caplan is a Professor (Clinical) of Medicine at Tufts, Trustee and member of many committees and a Councillor/Delegate of the MA Medical Society for 35 years, former President of the Charles River District Medical Society, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He has authored a number of scientific articles in the medical literature.
