Concert: Willow Flute Ensemble

The Willow Flute Ensemble expand beyond the standard repertoire of orchestral transcriptions and the small amount of well-known flute choir literature. Ray Brown of WCRB said of their firrst CD, 'The delicacy of the flutes is balanced nicely by the surprising richness of the total sound. Soothing, spirited, and beautiful.' Willow Flute Ensemble was selected to perform at the 2002 National Flute Association Convention in Washington, D.C. and is frequently invited to perform at respected locations including New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall, Harvard's Payne Hall, and Longy School of Music's Pickman Concert Hall.

Free and open to the public.  Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Wellesley Free Libraries.
