Families with children of all ages are invited to join us for Dana Hall School of Music's First Annual Halloween Music Open House. Children are encouraged to come in costume and trick-or-treat around the school. Behind every door they will find a musical "treat" featuring a different instrument played by one of our faculty or students (and of course candy too).
Other fun treats include instrument petting zoo, seasonal singalongs, music playgroups, crafts room, raffle and much more. The Director of Dana Hall School of Music, Jennifer Gaul first began producing musical trick-or-treat events when she was the Executive Director of Turtle Bay Music School in mid-town Manhattan. "Families needed a fun, safe, family-friendly place to go for Halloween. But I thought why not make it much more than that? Why not give families a creative environment filled with opportunities to experience music in its many forms. The event was a huge hit year after year so it was something I very much wanted to bring to this community."
Free and Open to all.
