Ben will be talking about his new book The Mystery of the Missing Everything, the sequel to the crowd-favorite The Secret Life of Ms. Finkleman which is also fresh out in paperback! These zany stories follow self-appointed sleuth extraordinaire, Bethesda Fielding, as she solves puzzles and uncovers mysteries at her middle school. Come for some tasty refreshments, a hysterical reading, and help us welcome Ben to the community!

There has been a shocking crime at Mary Todd Lincoln Middle School. In a glass case in the front hall, a trophy—the first trophy ever won in the school’s lackluster competitive history—has been stolen. Even more horrifying, an outraged Principal Van Vreeland has canceled everything fun until the trophy is back, including the eighth graders’ long-awaited, field trip to Taproot Valley. His new book for young readers is called The Mystery of the Missing Everything, a sequel to last year's Edgar-award nominated The Secret Life of Ms. Finkleman.
