Relaxing is easy, and fast, and health-enhancing when you learn to use these methods culled from hypnosis and meditation traditions. During this hour you will get to practice several different ways to experience immediate relaxation. Then pick the ones you like best to create your own relaxation routine at home. The more you practice, the more quickly and easily you can slip into a relaxed state whenever you want. Because hyp­nosis is a safe, natural state of mind you experience every day without realizing it, you can feel comfortable about exploring with the time-tested techniques we will employ tonight. Relax­ing your mind and body can be an end in itself, allowing you to throw off the stress of the day, drift off to sleep more readily, give your body a better chance to heal, or create an opportunity for insight to arise. In addition, relaxation is a primary step in hyp­nosis and meditation. Therefore tonight's program makes an excellent introduction to Cara Gallucci's experiential workshops later this season and throughout the year.
