National Jewish Book Month Author Panel: "Not Just for Sunday School: Jewish Books for Kids"

In honor of National Jewish Book Month, four authors of Jewish-themed children's books will be giving a panel discussion at the Wellesley Free Library aimed at parents, educators, and those interested in publishing Jewish-themed books. Guest authors Liz Suneby, Susan Lynn Meyer, Sarah Aronson, and Jane Kohuth will talk about their individual experiences writing and publishing Jewish-themed works across genre, including picture books, novels, and non-fiction. They'll then discuss questions such as, "Is a book with Jews in it a Jewish book?", "Are Jewish books for everyone?", "How do Jewish books engage kids in Jewish values?", "How can Jewish-themed books be used in the classroom?", and "What is the market like for publishing Jewish books?" The program will end with a question and answer period followed by a book signing.
