A version by Marie Seton of avant-garde Soviet director Sergei Eisenstein’s unfinished Que Viva México! (1931), a meditation on Mexican culture and politics from the ancient Maya to the Revolution.

Open Class: Film Screenings Series:
Open to the public and organized in conjunction with Santos y Pecadores and ArtH 338, Imagining Mexico and the Border in Film, this “open class” series is co-sponsored by the Davis and the Art Department. Each evening features an informative introduction, a film screening, and a lively discussion.
