Listed as one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world, Esther Duflo discusses her work on economics and the Jameel Poverty Action Lab. A Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics at MIT, Duflo has won numerous academic honors for her research, including the John Bates Clark Medal and a MacArthur Fellowship.
