Reed Brockman Reads From "From Sundaes to Space Stations: Careers in Civil Engineering"

Come to Wellesley Booksmith on April 21 to meet Reed Brockman, a practicing civil engineer and the passionate outreach coordinator for the Boston Society of Civil Engineers. 

Reed’s dynamic presentation on different types of civil engineers (e.g., structural, transportation, environmental) will be based on his new book for middle school and high school students, From Sundaes to Space Stations: Careers in Civil Engineering. 

With over a dozen contributors from the field of civil engineering, this book explains in an accessible voice what it means to be a civil engineer through fun, real world examples.
