Join us for a special reading by local children’s book author Ruthie Knapp in honor of National Youth Art Month! She’ll be helping Wellesley Booksmith celebrate a “gallery opening” of student work by kindergarteners at Ten Acre Country Day with her picture book Who Stole Mona Lisa?
Hear her read from this delightful true-life tale of the theft (and ultimate return) of the Mona Lisa, as told by the painting herself! The book was also selected by Kirkus Reviews as “one of the best children’s books of 2010.”
