True North Courses & Events: Women and the 2012 Election

During the Presidential primary season of 2011-12, the volume of discussion of “women’s issues” and of women themselves as voters, candidates, participants and contributors in politics and society was louder – and at times fiercer – than it had been in nearly 40 years. Join North Hill, the evolution of senior living, and examine the vast impact of women in the upcoming 2012 election.

Just what are “women’s issues”? Does the female voter have a different role in the electoral process than her male counterpart? Will women choose the next President on November 6th?

Consider these questions and be a part of a multi-partisan discussion with a panel of elected officials and scholars. Priti Rao of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus will moderate.
