Wellesley Girl Scouts (Troop 73505) will be at it again this Saturday, 26th March, when they will be conducting their 17th annual Fashion Show, Luncheon and Silent Auction at the Wellesley Community Centre.
Proceeds from the show are traditionally used to help the troop cover travel costs for their various outings, but this time around the proceeds will be shared with a charity of the troop’s choice.
The event provides numerous learning opportunities for the scouts. Planning began in January with the choice of themes….. and the girls do it all, from acting as MC’s from the event, to modeling, to waitressing, to designing the decorations, and prepping all the food. Older scouts also mentor the younger scouts ensuring the traditions are passed down.

The merchants of Wellesley also play a significant and generous role in
the event by donating items for the Silent Auction and loaning the cloths for the girls to model.
So if you are looking for something to do this Saturday from 1:00PM and
2:00PM (arriving at 12:30), please stop by and join in the fun.
