What happens when you finally get beyond your fear and start to follow your heart? In 1986, Wendy Seadia took a deep breath and at long last got to work on her dream of being a writer. After her first article was published in the Middlesex News, she began a happy exploration of the human condition through writings that have appeared in numerous local media, including the Boston Globe and Wellesley Weston Magazine. Some people think writers are lucky to have been given a crazy set of experiences they were able to turn into a wildly popular book. Instead, exploring creativity in our everyday lives is the key to a new world of ideas and inspiration. For Wendy, each step led to the next, and eventually she designed and self-published a unique memoir. Tonight she will describe her journey as a freelance writer and share the creative process that went into compiling and assembling her book. First of two sessions.
