Fake License And Heroin Charges For Boston Man: Wellesley PD

When officers spoke to the suspect, he provided them with a fake license from the Dominican Republic, police said.

WELLESLEY, MA — A Boston man was arrested after police said they found heroin on the suspect and he showed them a fake license from the Dominican Republic.

Richar Peguero-Soto, 32, was charged with posession of class A and B drugs with the intent to distribute, providing a false form of identification, and several traffic violations.

On Sunday at 4:50 p.m., police pulled over Peguero-Soto's gray Jeep on Worcester Street. Police said he struggled to stay in his lane of traffic and was straddling the center line. The suspect almost hit two cars driving on the other side of the road, according to police.

When officers spoke to Peguero-Soto, he provided them with a fake license from the Dominican Republic, police said. When searching the truck, police said they found heroin, oxycodone, and hyrdochloride.

Peguero-Soto is being held without bail.
