Family Courts Need to Change Now

Alienated Fathers in Wellesley need help

Massachusetts family courts need to change now. Unfortunately there is no such thing as 50/50 shared parenting and fathers continue to struggle to retain their rights to see their children. Parental Alienation is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

There are fathers in Wellesley that haven’t seen their children in years. They have struggled with the system that make caring loving Dads feel like everything they do is futile. They have gone to court dozens of times exhausting life savings, retirement, and borrowing money from friends and relatives. Judges, attorneys, Guardian Ad Litems and everyone trying to “do what’s in the best interest of the children” look away and get paid regardless of the outcome. They are erased, blocked, alienated. Sadly some commit suicide because their whole world has been taken away from them. Judges don’t judge. They don’t acknowledge a Dad that prepares for months to answer to false allegations that come up every year copied and pasted into some type of motion to take their children away from them. Judges look the other way when a contempt charge is brought to their attention when a mother ignores a visitation schedule so that Dads can’t see, talk to, call, text, or contact their kids in any fashion. This is illegal and it’s child abuse.

Courts are not doing what’s in the best interest of the children and they are ripping families apart. Who will listen if the courts don’t listen? Massachusetts family courts need to change and action needs to be taken now. 50/50 parenting should be law and those abusing the children need to have consequences.
