Film critic to discuss 'A Night at the Opera' at Waterstone

Accomplished film critic Dan Kimmel will discuss Sam Wood’s 1935 film “A Night at the Opera,” starring Groucho Marx, Chico Marx, Harpo Marx and Kitty Carlisle, on Sunday, April 17 at 2:30 p.m. The author of seven books, Kimmel is former president of the Boston Society of Film Critics and former co-chair of the Boston Online Film Critics Association. Currently, he is the editor of the Jewish Advocate, a correspondent for Variety, and a film critic for NorthShoreMovies.net. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
