Forecasted Rain Cancels Tonight's Summer Concert

Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for area.

The Recreation Department has canceled tonight's summer concert with The 60's Invasion due to a rainy forecast and severe weather warning.

The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms for the area during the late afternoon and into the evening. A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect.

There are still three concerts left this summer.

The concerts are held every Wednesday night through Aug. 11,  7-8:30 p.m. at the Town Hall Green.  The concerts are free,  thanks to several sponsors. Hot dogs, drinks & snacks will be sold at the events.
