Foundation for MetroWest is to honor Ben Fischman with the Young Philanthropist Award at fourth annual Community Leadership Breakfast.

Foundation for MetroWest is pleased to honor Ben Fischman with the Young Philanthropist Award at their fourth annual Community Leadership Breakfast Friday, October 23, 2015, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM at the Boston Marriott Newton, 2345 Commonwealth Ave., Newton, MA. Mr. Fischman, a serial entrepreneur and business executive, is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LAUNCH, a new business devoted to building companies that change the way people shop, think and live by focusing on maximizing consumer engagement through immersive digital experiences and powerful branding. With the promise to launch one to three businesses a year, M.Gemi, the high-end, Italian-made women’s shoe website, is the first business created under the LAUNCH platform.
A longtime resident of Wellesley, Ben serves on the Board of The Rivers School and Boston Children’s Hospital Trust. His spirit of volunteerism and philanthropic engagement in a wide-range of local charitable causes including Facing History and Ourselves, the Pan-Mass Challenge, and many others is an inspiration and exemplifies what it means to be a young philanthropist.
