Professor Gary Hylander will present a lecture on the life and work of Eleanor Roosevelt at Waterstone at Wellesley on Tuesday, March 22nd.

Professor Gary Hylander will present a lecture on the life and work of Eleanor Roosevelt at Waterstone at Wellesley on Tuesday, March 22 at 3 p.m. Not only was Roosevelt the longest-serving First Lady of the United States, she was also a politician, diplomat and activist who served as Chair of the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Director of the Bureau of Women’s Activities and in several other important roles. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
