Stonehill College professor Gary Hylander will present the lecture, “Watergate at 40” at Waterstone at Wellesley on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 2:30 p.m. Hylander, a popular speaker who frequently gives history lectures at local venues, will discuss the infamous Watergate scandal that rocked the political landscape in the 1970s and brought down President Nixon. This event is free and open to the public, but an R.S.V.P. is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
