Hard Work Pays Off for LINX Dancers at Elite Dance Challenge

LINX Dancers of Wellesley proved hard work pays off after winning awards at the Elite Dance Challenge in Bellingham, April 7th – 9th.

WELLESLEY, MA – April 19 - LINX Dancers of Wellesley proved hard work pays off after winning awards at the Elite Dance Challenge in Bellingham, April 7th – 9th. LINX Dancers age 7 – 16 competed, wining 3 of the highest-level awards (Elite Platinum), 2 judge’s awards, and 1 title award in the mini solo division. Dancers age 5 to 18 from 22 studios competed at the event.

“Elite Dance Challenge has been our toughest competition so far this season. I think it was a great experience for all the dancers to compete against other good studios, and the fact that our oldest dancers placed so well in the overalls proved that all their hard work is paying off,” said LINX Dance Director Heather Emley of their first time at Elite Dance Challenge. LINX’s elite dancers did exceptionally well, with four of their dances placing in the top 5 of their division.

Emley said the judging was very tough and they were competing against some very good studios. “The dancers had to push themselves and work hard to perform well. The parents were happy and many of the performances on stage were the best ones yet of the season.”
