Hillary Clinton Makes Private Wellesley Appearance
Ahead of delivering the commencement address in May, Clinton dropped by Wellesley on Thursday for a chat with President Paula Johnson.
WELLESLEY, MA – Hillary Clinton visited Wellesley College Thursday, stopping by her alma mater for an informal chat with President Paula Johnson. The former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic nominee for president co-hosted a private sit-down with Johnson in front of a crowd of Wellesley students.
During the roughly hour-long event, Clinton discussed her time at Wellesley, her experience as a campus activist and leader and shared advice for the next generation of campus activists. She also touched on the increasing number of women running for public office and the challenges facing higher education.
After the talk, Clinton engaged in a Q&A session with the audience about her time in government and how to succeed in "servant leadership."
