Hip Hop Aerial Yoga at South End Fitness Studio
Swet Studio of Boston, only AntiGravity Studio is Massachusetts, is Hosting Hip Hop AG Flow and will be Holding Teacher Training

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 7:30 p.m., Swet Studio, Boston’s Aerial Fitness and Indoor Rowing team, located in the South End, is proud to host AG Hip Hop Flow class, an aerial event. This group class combines classic AntiGravity® (fitness and aerial program) sequences with loud Hip Hop music. Experience rejuvenating zero compression inversions along with a total body workout, all while rocking in your AntiGravity® hammock. This exciting aerial class is open to all levels.

TEACHER TRAINING COMING SOON!
Next month, in June, Swet studio also is pleased to announce the expansion of its program to include specialized teacher training for qualified fitness instructors. During the month of June, Swet Studio will be holding AntiGravity® Fundamentals 1 & 2 Teacher Training to be followed with apprenticeship practice at the studio for hands on experience.
Swet Studio™ is the only AntiGravity® Aerial Fitness Studio in Massachusetts, and the only studio in the region to host AntiGravity Instructor Certification and training. Recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America as a Continuing Education Provider, the AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga & Fitness Program embraces the proven step-by-step techniques created by the world renowned aerialist and choreographer, Christopher Harrison.
This initial four (4) day Teacher Training class is designed for qualified individuals with a background in the fitness industry, who are desirous of instructing classes in the aerial arts. With AntiGravity® Fundamentals 1 & 2 certification and training, instructors will learn all the basics for safely and effectively teaching classes that include zero-compression inversions, as well a wide array of movement sequences combined with the different wraps, inversions, and spotting techniques of AntiGravity®.

Explains Swet Studio’s manager, Silviya Mihaylova, in addition to being open to the public for day to day practice, the studio is a venue for instructors in the fitness industry to better their practices and hone their skills:

According to Mihaylova, after the coursework is completed, participants who qualify will have the opportunity to apprentice at Swet Studio and garner valuable hands on experience in aerial instruction. Dedicated students looking to deepen their knowledge and take their practice to a new level are welcome to apply for participation in the program.
