How Many Millionaires Are in Wellesley?

New state data tells us how many reported an income of over $1 million.

WELLESLEY, MA – Millionaires are almost everywhere, if you just know where to look, and Massachusetts has more than ever.

Wellesley has the third-most millionaires in the state - 853 to be exact, according to new state Department of Revenue data for the most recent available year, 2014. That's how many people reported an adjusted annual income of $1 million or more to Massachusetts.

It sits just behind Boston and Newton, which had 2,031 and 1,284 residents report $1 million or more, respectively. Not too shabby.
