This year, income tax filing adds several new wrinkles that can be critical for people deciding how divorce proceedings or settlements should be determined. These outcomes can affect personal or family finances for years to come.
The Divorce Center, a non-profit organization that provides information to the public and to professionals dealing with divorce, will hold a seminar on Wednesday, February 21 to go over the most significant effects of the federal new law.
This is the second in a new monthly series of Wednesday evening public seminars on topics of interest to people in the process or aftermath of divorce. The tax law seminar will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington St., Wellesley. Cost is only $10.
