Junior Raiders from Wellesley Vie for National Championship
If the Raiders win on Sunday, they'll head to Orlando to the nationals. This group of kids just doesn't lose.
The Junior Raiders, a youth football team from Wellesley made up of sixth-graders, are headed to the final playoff game this weekend to secure a spot in the national youth football league championships, reported CBS Boston.
The team beat Norwalk, CT, with a score of 38-8.
The winner of a New England Championship game on Sunday, Nov. 23, in Nashua, NH, heads to Orlando next month. The same group of players, then fifth graders, won the national title last year, and has a long-standing undefeated record.
