Kerrigan Hosting Community Conversation in Wellesley

Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor Steve Kerrigan will be meeting with supporters and voters at the home of Amy and Mark Benjamin on SUNDAY at 6:00 p.m.

Kerrigan is hosting more than 30 community conversation events around the state to talk with voters about the important issues in the Lieutenant Governor’s race. In addition to Amy and Mark Benjamin, the event will also be hosted by Zachary Agush, Ann-Mara and John Lanza, Gerry Murphy and Joellen Toussaint.

Kerrigan is a former Lancaster selectman, a former longtime aide to Senator Ted Kennedy, a former chief of staff to Attorney General Tom Reilly, CEO of the 2012 Democratic National Convention and CEO of President Obama’s second inauguration.

Kerrigan currently serves as the president of the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, a private nonprofit dedicated to providing support to Massachusetts families of fallen military services members from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

He is the only candidate in the Lieutenant Governor’s race who has the support of 14 mayors, four sheriffs and more than 40 legislators from across the state. In June, Kerrigan finished first at the Democratic State Convention.
