Lecture series with Izzi Abrams: History of the Women's Movement at Waterstone

In celebration of Women's History Month, Librarian Izzi Abrams will present a lecture on the women's movement every Wednesday of March.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Librarian Izzi Abrams of Swampscott Public Library will present a lecture on the history of the women’s movement every Wednesday in March (March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30) at 3:15 p.m. at Waterstone at Wellesley. Abrams’ lectures will collectively cover the women’s suffrage movement in the early 20th century to the third-wave feminism that’s at work today. These lectures are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
