LINX Camps Donates STEAM Tree to Mass Hort’s Festival of Trees
LINX of Wellesley, MA donates a unique STEAM tree to Mass Hort's Festival of Trees 2106.

WELLESLEY, MA – November 21, 2016 – LINX of Wellesley, MA continues their long standing tradition of donating a unique tree to benefit Mass Hort. The Festival of Trees event takes place at Mass Hort in Wellesley, November 25 through December 11th, 2016. This year, LINX’s 6-foot tree is brimming with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related prizes in honor of LINX’s new STEAM summer camp programs for children K – 8th grade.
This year, LINX Camps focused on the interests of future scientists, artists, and coders. Gifts spiraling upward to the top of the tree include a 52-piece microscope, Ozobot (programmable robot toy), 3 $200 gift cards to LINX STEAM Camps, rocket balloons, code master programming game, IQ challenge set, 142-piece art set, and more.
LINX Vice President Josh Schiering said, “We wanted to share the joys of STEAM with children and announce the wonderful addition of the Regis campus, in Weston, to the fold of our programs. The Mass Hort Society is a unique organization that has a terrific mission and focus. So, donating to their family oriented cause is a natural fit for LINX Camps. We recognize and value the role Mass Hort played in helping us begin what is now a camp movement that serves thousands of families each summer.”
