LINX Dancers Win at Showstoppers Dance Competition in Foxwoods

WELLESLEY, MA – March 9th - LINX Dancers of Wellesley won awards at the Showstoppers Dance Competition at Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket, CT, February 23rd – 25th.

Dancers age 4 to adult from about 15 schools competed at the family-friendly venue. LINX’s 9 to 16 year olds performed to win:

4th place Mini Advanced Duet/Trio

7th place Junior Advanced Solo

9th place Junior Competitive Solo

6th place Junior Advanced Duet/Trio

3rd and 8th place Junior Competitive Duet/Trio

3rd place Junior Competitive Small Group

2nd place Teen Advanced Solo

6th place Teen Competitive Solo

3rd place teen Advanced Duet/Trio

5th place Teen Competitive Duet/Trio

5th place Senior Competitive Solo

“We had a really fun weekend with our dancers at Showstoppers. They gave amazing performances and I’m really proud of their scores and placements,” said LINX Dance Director Heather Emley. Winners enjoyed seeing footage of their dances displayed as they received their awards.
