LX Softball Academy Focuses on College Prep
WELLESLEY, MA – October 10 – LINX Camps’ new LX Softball Academy was created in response to parents asking for more intense, college prep training with time off to participate in Friday tournaments during the summer.
Cassidi Hardy, nationally ranked in NCAA D1 and former pitching coach for Boston University, will lead the 4-day intense softball workout program for girls in middle school through high school. The camp will prepare girls for the rigors of college softball through 5 training periods per day at the Dana Hall campus. Training from Division 1 players and coaches includes warm-ups, skill development, game play, tournaments, batting, fielding and pitching clinics. Open registration for the new camp starts October 15th.

Josh Schiering, Vice President and Executive Director of LINX and LX Summer Camps, stated that parents had asked for a more intense camp that did not conflict with Friday tournaments. Schiering went on to say, “With the competitive nature of college recruiting facing many of our young athletes, LX Camps has put together a training camp for star players looking for the competitive edge. Featuring the best coaching around in small group settings, LX Softball Academy intends to help our female athletes reach new heights. Our former DI player and coach has the know how to help girls get noticed for their talents on the field!”
