MA Senator Richard Ross Visits LINX Camps to Acknowledge 2016 Boston Central Family Favorite Award

Wellesley, MA – August 29, 2016 –Massachusetts State Senator Richard Ross joined in on the fun at LINX Camps on Monday, August 15th to see the camp in action, learn more about the programs and the enrichment the camp brings to the Wellesley area, and to present its owner and founder, Joe Kahn, with a citation to recognize LINX Camps as the winner of BostonCentral’s 2016 Family Favorite Award.

“After visiting LINX Camps in Wellesley, it is clear why their award-winning camp experience has become a family favorite in Greater Boston. LINX Camps promotes fun-based learning while encouraging children to explore interests, talents and imagination and fosters an environment that prioritizes kindness and respect. Lead by a dedicated and inclusive staff, the LINX Camps community inspires all children to grow and explore,” said Senator Richard J. Ross.

During his tour of the Dana Hall campus, Senator Ross saw campers actively engaged and enjoying camps, including basketball, gaming app design, and art.

LINX Camps is known for its camp “super heroes,” and the kids had fun watching the senator have his picture taken in one of the life size wooden cut out picture frames of some of the “heroes.”

Serving Metro West, LINX is now in its tenth year of operation providing fun-based classes and camps that specialize in dance, theater, sports and early childhood programming.
