MA Teacher With Wellesley Connection To Appear On ‘Jeopardy!’

The Cambridge teacher is the daughter of a Wellesley medic.

WELLESLEY, MA — Tonight's episode of 'Jeopardy!' will feature a familiar face from Massachusetts with connections to Wellesley. Katie LaBarge, a science teacher in Cambridge, will be featured on the Teachers Tournament episode of the game show on Tuesday night. The episode will air on WBZ-TV.

LaBarge is the daughter of a Wellesley medic and got a shoutout from the Wellesley Fire Department on Tuesday before the episode. The fire department said on its Facebook page "Tune in and watch Katie Labarge, daughter of one of our favorite medics, Kevin LaBarge, compete on Jeopardy tonight! Good luck Katie from all of us at WFD."

LaBarge teaches 9th and 10th grade science at the Phoenix Charter Academy in Cambridge. She is one of 15 K-12 instructors competing for a $100,000 grand prize and spot in the next Tournament of Champions.
