Man Fell From Scaffolding In Wellesley Office Park

The man was flown from Wellesely to a nearby trauma center.

WELLESLEY, MA — A man had to be flown to the hospital on Friday morning after falling from scaffolding in the Wellesley Office Park, police said.

The man was on William Street when he fell and was six feet up on the scaffolding when he fell. Wellesley police and fire crews helped the man until the Boston Med Flight arrived. Police said he hit his head when he fell but was conscious when they spoke to him.

Someone who witnessed the fall called 9-1-1. Police said for a fall like this, where possible head and spine injuries could occur, it's protocol to get the person to a trauma center as quick as possible, which is why they called the Medflight.
