Meet the Author with Pulitzer Prize Winner Stephen Kurkjian at Waterstone

Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome former Boston Globe reporter, Pulitzer Prize winner and author Stephen Kurkjian for a discussion of his critically-acclaimed 2015 book, “Master Thieves: The Boston Gangsters Who Pulled Off the World’s Greatest Art Heist,” on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. A book signing will follow the presentation, with copies available for purchase. “Master Thieves” has received mention in the New York Times Book Review, the Washington Post, Boston Globe and Kirkus Reviews. Kurkjian is a forty-year veteran of the Boston Globe; he is the paper’s former Washington bureau chief and a founding member of its investigative Spotlight Team. Kurkjian has won more than twenty-five national and regional awards, including the Pulitzer Prize on three occasions. He is a graduate of Suffolk Law School and lives in Boston. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
