While Wayland is not hosting it's own Fourth of July parade, neighboring Sudbury will celebrate the holiday with its long-standing parade. This year's parade is on Saturday, Jul. 4 at 1 p.m. The route is approximately 2.5 miles long.The parade route runs from Union Ave (at Chiswick park) to Route 20 E to Concord Rd north to the town center

Meanwhile, Wayland has been commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with a year-long series of fun and engaging activities.Here are some events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wayland.ma.us/1724/62826-Music-of-Americas-Foundation" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Music of America’s Foundation</a> Music of America’s Foundation is an afternoon celebrating the soundtrack of America’s history, authentically performed by The Red Horse Oldtime Stringband.
On Sunday, June 28th at 2:00 PM, gather on the Town Green at Wayland Center for this free outdoor concert experience. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon of live traditional music in a relaxed, community setting. Guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
